Working with Adults with long-term issues

Some people have experienced prolonged or repeated periods of anxiety and depression, often linked to trauma, drugs and alcohol issues.

They have often had previous short periods of therapy and even if helpful in the short term, issues have arisen again.

I work with each client to explore and understand the roots of their issues, at their pace. As well as building coping strategies the focus of the work is in supported healing; while finding and developing a positive sense of self.

Working with Young Adults (16+)

Young people experience specific issues as they develop in a complex, changing and often confusing world. I see those suffering with feelings of anxiety, depression; lacking self-esteem, experiencing relationship or identity issues; including self harm.

I work with each to develop their own sense of self worth and self acceptance, helping with coping strategies while looking to build resilience.
